A domain name is the name of your website; e.g. example.com.

Many websites use the .com extension.
You can read more about choosing the best domain name of your website here.
If you have already purchased a domain name, i.e. you bought it from another domain seller, you should use the form on the right – ‘I have a domain name’.
N/B: If you don’t have a domain name at the time of registration, you can move your cursor up and down and you will be told to choose a free domain later as shown below.
Step 4: Fill in your personal information
Make sure that you enter your personal information on the form that appears on the next screen.
The email you provide shall be used in sending your payment receipt and for recovering your web hosting passwords in case you forget. It is important.
Step 5: Fill in Your Bluehost Package Information
After filling your information, scroll down and fill in the package information.
The package information includes the account plan.
N/B: Since the first-time purchase of Bluehost web hosting comes with discounts, it is cost-effective to purchase a longer hosting plan.
I advise my readers to purchase many months of web hosting to take advantage of the discounts and vouchers.
Package information Add Ons:
Bluehost offers several hosting add ons including domain name protection, site backup, search engine jump-start and site-lock security.
Many of the add ons are not necessary. Your website will still work.
Domain Privacy: If you include the domain protection add on, your name, email address and physical address shall not be displayed to third parties. This may help stop spammers who may spam your email and phone with various offers.
If you want your website to be anonymous, and you have the funds ($0.99 per month), you can go for domain name protection to protect your personal information, otherwise, untick that option.
Site Backup Pro: This add on backs up your WordPress website. In case you mess up with codes and destroy your website, you can retrieve it from the back up.
However, there are many free plugins which can also do the same work.
It is not mandatory to purchase it.

Scroll down and enter the payment information by filling in the correct card number, the expiration date and the CVV2 code.
Be sure to tick that you have read and agreed to Bluehost’s Terms of Service, Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.
